Über uns

Rizzi TGO Style Study ist eine kleine Redaktion in Rotterdam. Wir recherchieren stilorientierte Produkte – Taschen, Oberbekleidung, Schuhe, kleine Lederwaren sowie die Schreibtisch- und Reiseobjekte, die sie umgeben – und veröffentlichen bewertete Kaufprüfungen, geschrieben von Menschen, die den Artikel bestellt, das Paket geöffnet und ihn benutzt haben.

Die Website wurde 2021 von Nadia Verhoeven gegründet. Sie hatte ein Jahrzehnt lang für Verbrauchermagazine über Materialien und Verarbeitung geschrieben und wollte einen Ort schaffen, an dem eine Kaufprüfung ordentlich abgeschlossen werden kann: ein Produkt, eine Werkbank, eine Vergleichstabelle, eine datierte Bewertung. In den ersten sechs Monaten entstanden elf Tests und ein Regal voller Referenzartikel. Dieses Regal ist heute das Rückgrat der Redaktion.

Wir sind vier Personen. Nadia leitet die Redaktion und schreibt die ausführlichen Prüfungen. Tom Ashcroft kümmert sich um den Testkalender, die Bewertungsbögen und die Vergleichstabellen. Priya Raman verantwortet die Recherche – Lieferantendokumentation, Materialangaben, Preisverfolgung und die Nachtest-Warteschlange. Eine Teilzeit-Kraft am Schreibtisch erfasst Pakete und hält das Referenzregal in Ordnung.

Wir kaufen im Einzelhandel. Die Pakete kommen in der Redaktion in Rotterdam an, werden an der Werkbank mit einem Zeitstempel-Protokoll geöffnet und bleiben in ihrer Ablage, bis der Bericht abgeschlossen ist. Unsere Testnotizen halten fest, was wir gemessen haben, was wir getragen oder mitgeführt haben und wie lange die Bestellung bis zur Ankunft brauchte. Die Bewertungen folgen einer Fünf-Punkte-Skala, geschrieben als X / 5. Hervorgehobene Produkte kommen alle 12 Monate zum Nachtest zurück.

Editor-in-Chief

Nadia Verhoeven runs the Rizzi TGO Style Study desk in Rotterdam and writes most of the long purchase checks. She spent nine years covering textiles, leather and factory construction for consumer magazines before founding the site in 2021. She keeps the reference shelf behind the bench and signs off every scoring sheet before a review is drafted.

Nadia starts with the research file, approves the order, and books the bench slot. She opens parcels herself when the item is a bag or a coat, takes the close-range material notes, and writes the comparison table commentary after Tom's scoring sheet is complete. She signs the sheet, then drafts.

Reviews Editor

Tom Ashcroft manages the review calendar, the scoring sheets and the comparison tables at Rizzi TGO Style Study. He came to editorial work from retail buying in Rotterdam, where he spent three years assessing samples, and has been scoring style-led products since 2016. He runs the 14-day use period and keeps the timing log that supplies the delivery figures printed in each review.

Tom builds the comparison table first, picking one reference item at a similar price and one above it. He runs the fit and use period, records abrasion and closure behaviour, then completes the five-point scoring sheet item by item before any drafting starts.

Priya Raman runs the research file that sits behind every review at Rizzi TGO Style Study. She checks supplier documentation, listed dimensions and material composition, tracks price movement across retail channels, and keeps the 12-month retest queue in order. She joined the desk in 2023 after five years in consumer research and data work in Amsterdam.
